Re: Denis Suarez

Be interesting to see if he signs a new contract then, as Barca must be very hard to resist for a young Spaniard.

Re: Denis Suarez

If he is good enough why wouldn't he get plenty of game time say in Swansea or southamptons teams.I think it's time to either start bringing him on as a sub, loan him to one of them teams(not another league) or get rid.Personally wouldn't go for option three

He wouldn't get close to the starting 11 of those teams. Never lived up to the hype when Ive watched him for Spain or the odd reserve game but he has plenty of time to develop. He needs a loan move to a lower league club so he can get regular games in a physical competitive league.

Like Joan Roman this would not bother me one bit.

Well hate to piss on your bonfire but this lad has been promoted to Barca first team and has been playing in there friendlies, scored a worldy today. If Barca can bring these players through then ought to..

Re: Denis Suarez

I'd be absolutely gutted if he left. I can't believe how many people are writing him off at 19. He's clearly one of our brightest academy players and we really should be doing everything possible to get him to sign a new contract. If by 22/23 he hasn't made it, then fine, but to write off one of spains most promising young players based on him not being in the first team by 19 is ridiculous imo. People were going mental for us to sign Isco, yet Suarez is exactly where Isco was 2 years ago and people are writing him off.

I'm in total agreement, everything we are striving to achieve would be contradicted if we let him get away.As others are pointing out with Roman,he was one of our brightest talents but,IMO,was never handled/mentored effectively.

I can't see our new staff allowing such a scenario to happen again without a bloody good fight

No he hasn't, he plays for Barca B, Barca first team have just come back and half the team is missing still. He has been drafted in along with all the other Barca B players to fulfil the team.

Once the big boys come back he will go back to being on the bench for Barca B.

Re: Denis Suarez

I really wouldn't blame the lad if he did fuck off. One of the biggest young talents in Europe and he's hardly had a sniff of first team football and has gone backwards because we haven't given him the games or even loaned him out. That is the problem becoming one of the big teams expected to win something each season the young players are seen as a risk and not given a chance to prove themselves.

Denis Suarez into the first team?

Hey guys,

Denis Suarez has surely done enough to prove that he can be an important player for us next season. Now with Pellegrini at the helm, should we expect Denis Suarez to be starting matches in the Premier League this season?

Its now or never or he will not develop. His friend Deulofeu is on loan at Everton to play, Rafinha is on loan at Celta and many youngsters are playing and developing.

According to Marca, Barcelona are now after him, and also there have been loan approaches from Celta, and some more Spanish teams. So should we loan him or should we put him straight in at the deep end? He is certainly very capable as you can see from the video, but still quite raw. However, for a 19 year old he is up there with the best.

Imagine in a few years from now he could be our Iniesta! :D And the fact that we nurtured a young player rather than buying one for 30 to 40 million euros will surprise everyone and disappoint some ;)
