Re: Denis Suarez into the first team?

Not good enough yet but hes badly in need of a loan somewhere

Re: Denis Suarez

All I can say is that he is our best youth player and therefore deserves to be promoted. I'm happy that Pellegrini is in charge because I know he will try to play Denis Suarez.

Barcelona are interested, which means we need to give him a new contract and start playing him now. We lost Joan Angel Roman - not a good thing at all, but we need to hold on to Suarez. He could save us 10s of millions later on and its good to get into a habit of bringing in youngsters and promoting them soon after.

So you think we should loan him instead? He certainly has quite a few offers which just shows how in demand he is right now thanks to his great performances in the U20 again.

According to Marca, Sevilla, Valencia, Espanyol and Celta Vigo want him on loan. I'd say go for it if he doesn't get into the first team and starting eleven this season.

Also Barcelona want to buy him for 4 million euros. That would be the worst possible deal for us. Lose an absolute gem and then watch him play for Barcelona in the future or get sold to another club for 5 times that amount.

Re: Denis Suarez

If Liverpool can buy a 20/21 year old from Barca B and expect him to come good, surely our 19 year old promising talent has all the time in the world to make it? At first put him in when we lead 3-0. Then use him in the lesser games. Then start use him as a impact player in games we trail in. Meanwhile let him get 90 mins in the Cups. Suddenly he plays all the time and voila: we have our own little Iniesta

Yes that is one of 2 of the best options. But, it really does seem that Denis is determined to break into the first team of City rather than just play. Honestly, I admire how much patience he has shown playing for the EDS etc. Now this offer from Barcelona B to be promoted to Barcelona worries me a little bit.

Denis is a fantastic player. We were so desperate to land an Isco, Thiago or Bernard when one was waiting to be played in our very own backyard. I say wait until pre-season ends and then decide if he should go on loan to La Liga, or give him a place in the 23 man squad.

He is under 21 so no need to register though. Or have I misunderstood

Re: Denis Suarez

There's no point bringing in these promising youngsters like him, Pozo and Lopes and letting them fester in the reserves. We need to gradually integrate them into the team until they lose become disinterested and fuck off, and who could blame them? Either loan him out to a Championship club/sister club if he's willing to impress or sell him on. That Emyr Huws looked like a top player too wouldn't mind seeing more of him looked promising.

Re: Denis Suarez

In England its difficult to field young players. Their bodies are just not equipped for the wear and tear. Look at Raheem Sterling, incredible beginnings, but his legs looked shot by the end of the year. Barcelona can afford to play under sized players like Bartra, Tello and Cuenca because the game is played differently. We either address how refs dictate games or we will see our youth players slip through the cracks not on talent, but on size.
