ive never got that zabba, ferny should get roles after they retire, we want the best coaches, zabba and fern may not be the best coaches, people are showing too much sentiment , same as vinny, i love all 3 players, zabba my all time favourite , but they have to show they are of the quality that we need .
Whilst I'm not disagreeing with the general thrust of your comments, often psychology plays a huge role too, having ex players with that winning, never say die mentality can bring out the best in players too, just ask Peter Barnes what made him pull his finger out when he wasn't performing more than anything else, he'll likely tell you it was the thought of having to face Mike Doyle in the tunnel or changing rooms at some point.100% they need to have the coaching quality, that is essential and has to be the bottom line. But their passion and enthusiasm for the club must also count for something, and has to give them an edge/advantage.
I think any young local kid/supporter in the academy wil also respond better towards a top former player.
Everything crossedLet's see how he gets on after his time out due to injury - if he comes back at still the same intensity and quality then he would be an excellent candidate to get in as a faster DM
fit right in thenDon't know if it's been said in here yet but he's been out since March with a knee injury
Multiple times but he isn’t injured anymore and played last weekend.Don't know if it's been said in here yet but he's been out since March with a knee injury
