He is basically a hybrid of Yaya and Ferna
Can’t help but think you’re slightly over hyping him, as a hybrid of Yaya and Fern would be a pretty special player.

Obviously the guy to replace Dinho. The Double Pivot podcast analysts were asked which player could have most improved Man City.
Firstly they said that by far the main problem was getting a DM that was like a younger Fernandinho. Much more important than a left back or another striker.
The player they identified was Denis Zaharia from BM in Germany.
I've no Idea if they are correct but that’s their opinion.

I don't see much of Yaya in him to be honest so the talk of Dennis being a hybrid of Yaya/Dinho doesn't work for me, I see him more as having certain attributes similar to Dinho's / Essien's style of play. I think we need these type of players in our team, right now we have Rodri and Ake, dinho would be leaving soon, Gundo isn't the combative midfield type so there's more than enough space for a player like Dennis.I’ll be honest and say I don’t know much about him but they agreed with you and said it was obvious.
Maybe in January or June City will try for him.
his most recent injury is a bit worrisome though. injured his knee in march and still is not fit. him and the club first said its nothing major but he still cannot train 100%.
he is nothing like yaya (prime). because he dribbles once in a while? passing range is way lower/long shots etc
if i really had to compare him to a player id say he has certain characteristics of kante/essien with a much bigger frame.
