Seeing her at the side of the pitch was fcking awful, how they kept cameras rolling for as long as they did was disgraceful.

I’m the heat of the moment you can make mistakes. The producer was probably trying to keep the cameras moving around to get different shots until it was organised to take it off air, I can’t imagine they did it for entertainment. Anything they caught on camera was just unfortunate.

He may well have been. So, testament to the work done on the pitch and the speed with which it was initiated.

Spot on, my walking mate collapsed on a Metrolink Tram in Wythenshawe. Sadly he did not make it as there was nobody around to give him the immediate treatment needed. It still saddens me to think of him there on his own.

Can’t agree with this at all. The shots were all absolutely deliberate including close ups of his crying wife, CPR and a defibrillator in use. The BBC should have cut to the studio as soon as it was apparent something was wrong. This was not a sequence events to be broadcast or commentated over.
