Derby day ticket criteria

most people can't do swansea away midweek. people do want tickets to closer games, i don't see a problem with that. the problem is its becoming impossible to catch up or get enough points. your argument is just go to swansea a way mid week....near impossible for a lot working people. its becoming a closed shop - away games. its the same people going every game now, even if you did go to the unfashionable games that are miles away, you've got near enough no chance of catching up. if your a young person wanting to start going away games how on earth do you catch up now ? ( or is swansea away midweek your only chance of going for the next few years ?)

loyalty points are a good idea, but i think it needs changing. maybe a certain percentage go to ballot ? and we need to stop giving corporate tickets out so much.
, those who do go to Swansea away midweek are usually the ones on high points, that's why they are on high points.

Also

" Do you think a fan who can no longer afford to go on lets say 17k points is going to dropped down the points ladder or still buy a ticket, get the points knowing he/she can still sell on"

Trust me also i would. Unfortunately when my circumstances changed (Mortgage) i had little points to take advantage. Rightly or Wrongly
Let's be honest though that would only be few and far between. That certainly wouldn't out weigh what's going to corporate and selling sites. We all know for a fact that there will be loads of tourists in the away end at united, it's the club at fault not system.

Always at Derby time ???

I believe 'nob' and 'knob' are interchangeable. Just like most of your posts which generally consist of sticking two fingers up to fellow blues you. I know lots of people who do virtually every game but none of them ever use the "where were these people on Tuesday night at Sunderland" line.

As someone else said 'Always at Derby time ??? That's not sticking 2 fingers up at anyone but you can read it as you wish. I fully understand the frustration of not being able to get tickets. We've all been there at some point or other. However when I personally hear people who can't be bothered with going to the difficult games demanding the 'system' be changed to suit them when they can't get a derby ticket I'm afraid that sympathy goes out of the window. For the record I don't agree with all the tickets that go down the corporate (Chelsea boat trip a case in point) and SC route either but the SC allocated tickets do at least provide the 'fighting chance' for some that you speak of. There was no need for the insults either. People hold different views. Ciao.

Swansea or Sunderland away are just 2 games and would have minimal effect on one's points totally really. The old and predictable Swansea / Sunderland way argument is facile TBH
Not if you've been to both of them for the last 10 years you would have an extra 400 points
Yours is the old and predictable argument
Let's face the system doesn't suit as you ain't been going regularly and you want to penalise the ones that have.

Agree re the corportate tickets totally. Can't agree re ballots for all the reasons others have put forward previously . People have different circumstances but when I see people choosing a night out over certain 'too difficult' away games the argument gets watered down. Each to their own on that one at the end of the day I guess. I'm just saying to those who can't be bothered it's a difficult argument to then moan about not getting tickets for United & Liverpool away etc.
