Anyway I think we are probably getting off topic, my original point was that I don't see the need for the club to charge for a ticket priority system at all, most games you can get tickets on general sale, for high demand games I don't see why they can't just prioritise the ticket sales based on loyalty points.
You are right most games go to general sale, I have MTP because it gives me first choice to get 2 seats together in a better position. Only 2 games last season had a loyalty points criteria , the derby and QPR. I as there are more MTP holders than tickets available, points are the only way to be fair to loyal fans when games are going to be oversubscribed. Otherwise tickets would go to whoever could get through to book tickets first.
Yes points are the only way to handle oversubscribed games. I'll be interested to see if they continue with MTP after the stadium expansion, at the moment MTP comes in handy for you, but with more seats I would imagine your chances of getting 2 together, where you want them are increased, so I'm guessing you would be less inclined to buy MTP then?
Yes your probably right with a 60000 capacity MTP would be less attractive.
