Derby sold out

How does viagogo work? Can you grab a ticket from there even if you have a lower point count than City are selling at? Got a mate that really wants to go but missed out on tickets. I just went on there to see if I could grab another ticket but it didnt let me. Is this because Iv already got one? Its just that it says you can grab more than one ticket.

On viagogo,it says at the top you need 2000 or more points ?? wtf!

This might be to stop rags getting them?

But you still need to register your supporters card.It kind of links your Bluecard with viagogo.

gutted at this news, i don't know how many points i have but under 750 so i can't blame myself... pissed off at the viagogo 2000 points criteria though.

just out of interest, how many games (roughly) does it take to accumulate 1000 points?

If you mean how many games does it take going on an individual basis, then about 100 home games, as the standard is 10 loyalty points per game.

ah yeh i meant games not points lol

so does this mean its pretty much impossible to get into the 5/6000 points bracket without having a season ticket for several years on the trot?

and when does the club offer more points for certain games? i swear I've rarely seen a figure other than 10 points for any game. i would love it if you could get points for u18 and EDS games, as this would actually give those with hardly any points the chance to catch up

Takes a while to make that many. I only came back from living abroad in 2008 so haven't had a season card that long myself compared to some and have over 3,000 points (Wigan away the only northern away game I've been able to get a ticket to this season with that many). You get a big one-time injection of loyalty points when you get a season card and get double loyalty points on Platinum. Also the cup schemes offer incentives, I got 220 points for the League Cup scheme and enduring one awful 120 minute performance against Villa in the rain... 200 for joining the scheme, 20 for the game itself (double points on my Platinum card). Some home games and all away games also offer more than the standard. I think some EDS games offer loyalty points but don't think U18 games do.

so its quite a few years of regular games before you start to get enough to begin to become eligible for the bigger games.

in the meantime, do you think there may be a chance that viagogo will lower/remove its 2000 points criteria nearer the time? i bloody hope so or there'll be a few sleepless nights searching for a ticket!
