We just might considering:
1 Jack flatters to deceive and he just doesn't seem happy, could move on in the summer
2 Doku, see Jack but cannot see us selling but he's not a first 11 player
3 Savinho not quite ready but loads of potential
4 Bobb, just coming back from a broken leg and cannot play every game

We do need new wide players and I wouldn't be surprised if we signed one

You can pretty much say we need quality in most areas of the pitch at the moment.

Right back, Centre back, a midfield to sit alongside Rodri, a creative midfield to replace KDB and a player in the front 3 aswell.

The balance of the squad is all wrong currently. Alot of our best players of recent times are over 30 and past their peak (or in and out with injuries) and we've got quite a few players below 23 so still raw. The team is in desperate need of a refresh and bringing back to life and that will probably help the likes of Doku and Savinho to kick on. How often do those 2 get good ball in space in behind or quick ball to allow them to go 1 on 1? We need a peak KDB or David Silva, our wingers thrived off their service.

I think Savinho will be good enough. He was great for the first 20 minutes today and was constantly trying to get on the ball and make things happen throughout.

He is only 20 and probably showed more than Sane did in his first few months at the club. Sadly he has had to be thrown in at the deep end, take the responsibility as more senior players are not stepping up rather than eased in like other signings.

For the first 20 mins yesterday Savinho just cut inside and either shot well wide or high, or just had a shot blocked. He was annoying Haaland, when Erling was making runs and asking for the ball and Savinho just cut inside and shot.

That said, he won Erling the penalty he missed from.

Our wingers are good enough, they aren't the quality we used to have but they are good enough

The issues is the tactics, slow and predictable where creativity is stifled

Savio was one of the best prospect in the world last season, 19G/A at 20

Doku has been hyped as a top winger prospect for a few years

Grealish was one of the most creative attacking players in the league for avilla

Bernardo is a right winger by trade and plays there for Portugal

Foden is better centrally but he has shown WAYY more on the wings than he's shone at the moment

The talent is there, no they may not be Sterling, Sane, Mahrez but they aren't shit either

The tactics are robbing them of what they are best at

Doku & Savinho both have the ability to beat full backs most of the time especially when teams leave one on one but both of them the final ball is dreadful. The coaching team really need to work with them to improve this side of their game.

I think it’s more how we play. If both played for Liverpool they would do far better . Our players don’t move + Doku and savinho are always playing against 2 defenders due to zero help from any overlapping defenders. Lewis is a CM in this system. What is Savinho supposed to do? With our shitty movement without the ball and that „ we have to keep the ball“ mentality. No Nico Williams or Kvaratskhelia will shine in this current team.

Savinho is fine. He's shown more than enough in most areas of his game (aside from finishing so far) to show he'll be class. He shows patience in his play while also willing to work hard and mix it up with right and left feet.

I personally like Doku too. Despite his rawness. And his unwillingness to track runners.

I wouldn't be averse to getting a new left winger, though, and somebody who starts ahead of Doku - a real statement signing, somebody fantastic and not a 'project'. Just somebody roaring and ready to go.
