Iirc didn't Khaldoon say on behalf of Mansour that he hoped to have 3//4 Academy players in the 1st team squad by season 16/17. Hope we don't give priority to English players, as this would put everyone else in the Academy at a disadvantage.

It's not fucking difficult. The best 25 players are in the first team squad. Give or take, the best 11 are on the field. If an academy player is good enough, from England, Africa or the Moon, he plays. If not he doesn't. Devant Cole isn't good enough.
We could stop buying any players, use all the academy and get relegated I guess? I sometimes think that would make some people happy.

I'd say it's not subjective at all, the staff know exactly who's ready or not.Good. We shouldn't make it a priority. It's always great to see a youngster involved but it's highly subjective as to wherever they're ready or not. I just want to see us succesful in the here and now - we've got plenty of time to reap the benefits of our acedamy.
I'm surprised slimshadyrusky or whatever his name is hasn't been on yet, he must have watched a YouTube goal from Cole and can't understand why he hasn't replaced Aguero yet.
