If we get Sterling & De Bruyne I don't see us getting Di Maria too. Need to give Lopes some game time.

Don't think it's wise to keep Lopes here for a few League Cup games. Give him another loan, then he'll actually develop instead of wasting a year.If we get Sterling & De Bruyne I don't see us getting Di Maria too. Need to give Lopes some game time.

All three (Di Maria KDB and Sterling) are all pretty versatile so if we're willing to splash the cash that would be a filthy midfield especially if you include the likes of Silva, potentially Pogba, Yaya, Ferna etc... Thats a world class midfield right there, but personally i dont understand the interest in Di Maria. Great Talent but very streaky and very very pricey for a 27 year old, but thats just my opinion.If we get Sterling & De Bruyne I don't see us getting Di Maria too. Need to give Lopes some game time.

Pretty much what our Chairman said in his interview. We will not sacrifice the first team to give youngsters playing time unless they are absolutely ready to step in and help the team move forward.

Never going to happen, though we should leak to the press that we're willing to offer a £2M season loan deal with an option to buy next summer, if he makes the grade. They could take over from Arsenal as a feeder club.
