thats what the league cup is for. i am all for blooding kids but we need to do the business on the big stage first. consistantly.

we need to be realistic about our youth development and the reality right now is that most of not all of them are not ready to step into the first team yet and there's really no need to rush them until they are at least 22 - 23. I would say we should loan the likes of Lopes, Ambrose , Fofana, Denayer and even Nacho for at least one more season. It wouldn't make any season giving the youngsters a run of 4 or 5 minutes from the bench. Loan them to Ligue 1 , Eredivise and the championship or maybe the newly promoted sides. Denayer has something good happening for him right now and he can only sustain that by playing regularly, sitting on the bench as 4th choice might just turn him to another Boyata.

as for the di maria story , I expect to see a DM header that says "DI MARIA TURNS DOWN BLUE HALF OF MANCHESTER" LOL. The tabloids keep putting out crappy articles just so they could say the rags are still a very attractive side. Its like the laughable transfer story they brought up about Liverpool and Arsenal going in for Depay, only for him to turn them down in favour of LVG's side.

Looks like Andrew Cole is trying to make a living by saying ludicrous things - is a man that resperate for attention, money or to be liked(probably all three) that he makes himself lack credibility?

A sensible man(not often associated with Utd I know) would have spoken about a 'cheeky' bid for Dzecko. That would have been worth a debate
