She’s said stuff that is absolutely thick, has said very controversial things about the country, has previously stereotyped the majority ethnicity in this country and is, and this is being fair, the epitome of what those on the right characterise as the loony left.

She’s done more damage to her cause than good.

It’s got nothing to do with her being a woman nor skin colour and everything to do with her being a dangerous Home Secretary, should they gain power.

I can’t believe I’m agreeing with him but BT is spot on on the above post, Thatcher had people celebrating her death and actually using sexist language against her.

I’ve heard many women on the left say she shouldn’t be a feminist role model, well who the fuck are they to decide?

Plenty of people complained when people celebrated Thatchers death. I’m pretty sure she’d have got more stick when she was in power if the internet was around then also

I’m not a fan of Abbott. She doesn’t seem particularly bright and not particularly savy given the media age which we live in. However, is she any less capable than Liz Truss? Really, or that fucking idiot Steven Barclay?

Abbott’s majority in her constituency went up at the last election and she been there for years so obviously doing something right

Both parties have fuck wits and both parties have exceptional MP’s.

I’ve spent a while on this forum bemoaning that dribbling moron Raab for example.

I do agree that we should try and keep away from threads containing post after post about how shagable someone is, on a political thread. I did make a couple of posts that didn’t live up to this expectation but I stopped when we were told and in my defence, all I did was question someone for fancying Swinson, as opposed to making a vulgar comment.

On balance, I have seen plenty of women fawning of Justin Trudeau, so it’s not all one way.

Okay fair enough. I don’t think it’s racial or sexist, more what she stands for and that she’s a bit thick but nevertheless let’s agree to disagree.

It does look like the forum has moved on so let’s leave it in the past regarding Swinson.

I wouldn’t ever call a woman a **** in person or so that they’d know. Men should treat women with respect. But if a woman deserved to be called one and was so on here, that wouldn’t ever read this forum, I don’t think it’s that much of a big deal.
