Don't even take this Hunt fella seriously - he is a wan**r and one of the reson Stevie does not want to play fron Ireland. Everytime Hunt comes here on International duty he has to spend time slagging Stevie. This is while all the other squad members want him back, err guest who's position Stevie will take when he is back.

Don't even give Hunt the column inches that he craves.

That interview needed sub-titling.To my ears he actually only formed about one word in four.

If I'd been the interviewer, I'd have "done a Partridge" on him,let him get half way through and gone "sorry-that's just a noise."
 
If I was Irish and he was coming out with that shit, when everybody else is trying to get my country's best player back in the team, I wouldn't want him anywhere near the squad. He's shit anyway, not fit to lace Stevie's boots!
 
I Know on here that there is someone quite friendly with Ireland and if this is wrong I apolgise with regards the Rep of Ireland and why he left the camp

Superman and is teamates where having a drink at the time he had inplants in is hair after a few drinks to many the 4 Irish players from Reading , the 2 Hunt brothers , Shane Long and I think Kevin Doyle deceided it would be fun to take the inplants out of Supermans hair , that so am told is the real reason Ireland does not play for Rep of Ireland he left that night or in the morning saying it was cause of a Family Death and then we all now what happened after that , he also implied that he would not play for them whilst the 4 lads from Reading where in the Rep of Ireland squad

Don`t know the lads name on here who knows Superman but he will probably know if this is a true version of events

noel hunt didnt play for reading back then and not too sure long was in that squad either btw so i dont believe you have all the facts
saying that, s hunt is a **** and deffo has something to do with supermans's continued abscence. hunt's dislike for ireland is a common undercurrent running though his interviews for the last 2 yrs. pure jealousy- a common trait in those with small man syndrome

i know a player from the irish squad personally and its true about pulling out the hairplants, just a bit of banter maybe but im sure their was more to it, also traps problem with andy ried and not picking him involves a late night singalong with a guitar that trappatoni didnt like and after a few beers words were exchanged that almost ended in fight, ried will never play for ireland again it seems while
