Is it because there were more than two humans on the Ark?

It's wishful thinking combined with fairytales and parables aimed at making good boys and girls of the populace. The fact that most people on death row in USA are believers seems to suggest it's not very successful though.

Kangaroos, polar bears and penguins didn't really feature as the story-teller was unaware of their existence. It's just a surprise God didn't tell him to include them as proof he was all-knowing.

I think it was just a pair of the ""unclean" animals, whatever they were (probably pigs and rag supporters).
Took old Noah a fair bit of time to build and fill his ark, just as well he lived to be 600!

I think you may need to think it through for yourself, it's really not my place to tell you anything my friend.

I have thought it through, and having used my faculties, the result is not believing in sky fairies.

It’s no surprise you can’t name one to follow and give a reason though. Lack of anything remotely resembling evidence is a bit of a roadblock for all 3,000 gods in that respect.

Finally, your last sentence would be great if it was adopted by all believers, whichever their preferred fairy, rather than infecting the lives of the billions who are indoctrinated to believe in their geographically influenced fairy, or those of us forced to deal with Religion’s impact on daily life. To paraphrase mr Hitchens…you can play with your toys…but don’t demand that the rest of us play with your toys.

No mention of additional animals being taken on board to feed the carnivorous ones.
No mention of why other boat owners didn't survive though they might not have known to collect provisions.
And no mention of where the water was held before the flood.

According to Genesis 7.14 "Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark".
If they made their own way, how they...
Knew if they were clean or not.
Decided which of them should go.
Knew where to go.
And, how long would it took for a wallaby to hop from Australia.

Also why did all the animals that live on Madagascar traipse their sorry arses all the way back there, when they could have easily lived in Asia and Europe?

That point about the lions and lion fodder is bang on. But also what about moles and other things that live underground?
