Suits me.
Suits me too, just think it is a bit strange that these two clubs have been trying to screw us for what they can get, we put a 3rd bid for bellend in today?

I would have though the Kaka story should have broke once both deals were tied up,

Spot on! This ongoing deal with Kaka is only going to make signing other players harder. Clubs will now see that if we want a player we will pay over the odds to get him

You know what I find odd about the whole Kaka thing, and it leaves me scratching my head, not that we have gone for Kaka because I am a firm believer in aiming for the top, and I am buzzing we have offered £100 000 000.

What puzzles me though is we bid £100 000 000 whilst allegedly trying to sign bellend and RSC the fee involved for Kaka was obviously going to have fat Sam creaming his undies at the thought of screwing us for another few million and the money grabbing mercenaries at WHU,so in my opinion the delegation in Milan must have known this would happen when the story broke.

Has a spanner been deliberately thrown in to the works of both those deals for bellend and RSC ?,by the leaking of the bidding for Kaka, have both MH deals been deliberately undermined, because now Fat Sam and WHU must be more determined than ever to screw us for what they can.

it must be highly unlikely we will see bellend and RSC now ?

seems really odd that this story broke whilst we were putting in bids for these two player

something does not add up.

Apparently the leak was made by Arry 'Dogface' Redknap who was at Milan trying to negotiate for Adriano while Cooke & Joorgobakian(whatever he's called) were there for Kaka. Furthermore, that leak (which wasn't wanted by city or milan at this point) has temporarilly knocked the talks off the rails.

A theory I came up with earlier..... Remember how the transfer often quoted in the press was £200m??

And then all of a sudden it turns into "Hughes has £60m to spend"

Is it not, therefore, fair to suggest that the arabs have said to hughes, here's £60m off you go, buy who you like. We'll take the other £140m and bring you Kaka, Villa, and Abiol.
Happy spending!!!

Interesting idea.

£100m for Kaka, Toffee said £30m for Villa (rising upto around £50m), and £10m for Albiol.

Would all fit.

Redknapp could have told them we were in Milan.

But the fact we were after Kaka could only have come from one of our lot letting something slip, or someone from the Milan lot letting it slip.

As easy (and fun) as it is to blame it all on Bent 'Arry, I just don't think it's the case.

Christ, you'd find a negative in winning the bloody lottery. Lighten up LB.
Ffs whats negative about it?, it is a valid point don’t you think ?

Seriously fat sam must be more resolute than ever, after seeing what we have bid for Kaka, the point I was making is maybe someone does not really want RSC and bellend hardly negative.

It is not even MH “mo” to operate like this putting in bids in dribs and drabs, we usually only here of MH singings when there done.

twitcher let it slip to a journo from our place - fact

He really is a ****. why the hell would he do that??

Apparently was off to Milan to try to seal a loan deal for Adriano or some other star, got hijacked by reporters (completely by coincidence) and in a bid to throw people off the scent offered the fact that he knew the City boys were in town (I think) in an attempt to keep his own dealings under wraps, lo and behold, they were; questions were asked, security staff bribed etc and the rest is history, that's whay the story broke (unusually) a day before in the Express (Star etc). For obvious reasons City did not necessarily want this to break until they had it sorted. "We went for Kaka but here's Bellamy" is not the best way to encourage pissed-off fans. That's the best I can gather for now SP.
