Did New Order write the most infectious songs ever?

Despite invariably singing about the same things (cars, love, California, girls etc), I’d say The Beach Boys made some of the most ‘infectious’ songs ever.

Used to love New Order in the 80's and 90's when they were around

But I don't find it easy to listen to their old stuff these days. Seems a bit dated and hasn't stood the course of time unlike a lot of other stuff from that era

Disagree there.... still bop away to many a NO tune and they still feel fresh..... different eras too such as Age of Consent, Temptation, Love Vigilantes, Bizarre Love Triangle, Run, Regret.....
Good luck to Stephen and his book.

To be fair you’ve come up with some great tracks there

I think it’s more anything from Technique and beyond that I would be tempted to skip if it popped up on my iPod. Does that coincide with the end of Factory?
