I think Mancini made it abundantly clear pre-match that Pantillimon
was his goalkeeper for the Carling cup and the FA cup.
He'll play in the final without a doubt.

He looked nervous and probably was but he is an accomplished goalkeeper and this decision to play him is brave and sensible. The commentry by the ITV failed managers Quango and their pre match chat was so pathetic regarding this issue which had already been decided long ago.Personally I would like to see us have a goalkeeper with old fashioned attributes . Catching a ball instead of punching and commanding at least his area. Goalkeepers do have an advantage. With the hands extended 2 feet and the slightest nudge by an opponent that goes in their favour.English tv commentaters used to laugh at the continental style of punching which has its merits in some situations but Hart and others favour this method when a safe clutch seems more appropiate

i guess it's the only way to ensure we have a quality back up, plus nothing wrong with hart thinking his whole season rests on only 2 comps

Yes. His contribution along with the rest of the players has been to get us to the final. A couple of questionable actions, but then again has Joe been perfect every game? Conceded just one goal to date and to Chelsea FFS, there are other EPL sides who would die to have Pants as their No1 keeper. Definitely starts for me.

Just a relief to see our keeper actually catching the ball unlike Hart who punches under no pressure at all and brings the opposition back on to us.
