Did we really get it wrong?

Can't believe people are still going on about this.

It was a cockup, it was done and there is nothing we can do about it. We live to fight another day.

The focus on this over the much more important issue of the performance and result is staggering.

It seems to me that people fall into three categories in relation to this: those that think it's a big deal, those that don't and those that were in the ground pointing out to other blues that 4-2 was enough to finish top of the group and those other fans not believing them.

The last category are definitely the biggest blues and deserve a lot more recognition imo.
Let me guess....

Modesty prevents me from elaborating further.

Did you have to look "modesty" up in the dictionary?

Yep, I agree GDM ;)

The important thing now is that we score at least one more goal than Arsenal this weekend.

I believe that would narrow the gap by 3 points.

Exactly, 2 wins and a draw away at WBA, Southampton and Bayern should hopefully kick start our away form for the rest of the season.

Had united done the exact same thing there would have been a thread 10 times the size of this at how much of a monumental fuck up it had been, and how inept Moyes is.

Haha. Of all the stuff written in this thread, this particular line (and you're not the first one to use it) is the worst. You do yourself and your argument no favours imo by using it.

Very surprised this is still rumbling on into today if I'm honest. I get the feeling that those who aren't bothered are happy to let it drop - but those who are bothered feel the need to be told that their opinion is ok.

Probably best just to walk away from the entire subject at this point as nothing can be changed, if there's a lesson to be learned I'm sure the club have learned it, and IMO it's time to focus on the huge game against Arsenal at the weekend.
