Why would Pool splash out on another striker when you have already bought the 2 Spaniards, and already have Sturridge and Suarez. If you are really in for this guy, and are spending 21 mill, then Suarez is on his way. Of this I am almost certain

I like him a lot, and think he'll thrive at Liverpool.

I didn't say we hadn't paid over the odds for a player on numerous occasions over the last few years, because we have.

Strong and combative player. Not a bad finisher, not brilliant. Of average technical ability.

I generally tend to agree with you, but Costa is pretty clinical.
