Digital Flags?!?

I thought they looked great, I appreciate they may not be everyone's taste but there you go

I think they look good and everyone else will have them in a few years - they just need to stay the same colour/brightness.

Dont know whether this has already been said but dont you think they should come with a health warning like films and tv re flashing images etc?

The pink one did my head in!!

Also isnt it distracting for the players!!

I know last nights performance would suggest not but it must be slightly distracting.

I hadn't realised that our flags were all adverts for something or other!! Didn't see any flags at all but then I was also watching the match. Agree with those who say that that pink one was annoying.

Not sure about the screens but then I am willing to give most new innovations a chance. However, watching tunnel cam just now I am definitely NOT in favour of that flaming car on the wall. That wall contains 'bricks' with names of people who either paid themselves or people paid for them to be displayed. Those people, I would think, would be very annoyed that they have now been pushed to one side for a car advert. IMHO

I think there was a life span when you bought one maybe wrong

the screens are good for kids when adults stand up they can still see whats going on
they said your names would be up for 10 years minimum, and they were done in 2003, the opposite wall to the car has the names still there. which is a bit shit cos my name was on the wall that now has the advertising on it.

I sit on row S on the bottom tier, seemed to be just the right height to piss me off, caught my attention every time they changed (obviously doing the job they are supposed to do)

I stand in 116 quite low down, the screens are quite handy for me during the second half, a quick glance gives me a better idea of depth perception when we are attacking the Family stand.

it is all about advertising revenue, something we need to do with FFP, anyway, our stadium is turning in to one of the best in Europe, with more to come

if any of you guys noticed one of the messages on tier 2 led was about flags and to go to this website to get it sorted the website is http://www.mcfc.co.uk/fans/fan-participation/fan-flags

I liked them a lot, except for the pink advertisement that blasted my retina's each time that advert came on.

Other than that, a nice modern touch from City, well done City!

Sitting in the stadium was like viewing a web page in the 90s - way too much going on. The pink one especially was really distracting and took away from the game. It started to get the feel of TV in the 50's that the football was of secondary importance to the advertising.

I thought the big screens with the action on were fantastic. Also as a side note, the advertising boards on the second tier looked like they were HD screens, which made the pitch side ones look really shite in comparison.
