It's quite common for players to receive a loyalty bonus when their contracts expire and if Yaya's bonus is high then there would be little to gain by leaving now, no matter what Seluk has in the pipeline.

I reckon Yaya may have done enough to forfeit that loyalty bonus, seeing as the lads who drew up his last contract had previous experience of his cockroach of an agent.

Yaya strikes me as a person who would disrupt the squad if he wasn't getting picked and bitching behind the managers back.
