Would really piss off the press if we had a 50k+ crowd. Large swathes of seats is when you have tiers not even opened. Must have missed that Guardian report last week. It’s about time City issued an edict to journalists that if they criticise the fans and how we can’t all afford to buy a ticket for every game then for the next 100 games that paper will be charged for their ticket or they are banned from the ground. NHS have been given a couple of thousand, TC staff now been given some, and how many other schools?
Thing is, I struggle, really struggle to get “up” for these CL games. Doesn’t feel a conscious decision but I find the competition a bit “meh”. Don’t get me wrong I want to win, I’ll cheer and shout etc but genuinely if you ask me do I want a trip to Istanbul in Cl final in May, or Wembley for the Carabao Final in March, then I choose the latter. Don’t know why.

Oh no definitely not, everyone gives rockets away - I wasn’t having a go at City. I heard last night that the rags have a scheme that if a rag buys a ticket and can’t make the game, they won’t sell it on they’ll give it to a local school, which I thought was good.Scum were giving out plenty of freebies last week as well so it isn’t something limited to us. Well I’ve no idea how these tickets have been ‘dished’ out mate, I suppose ~2k tickets don’t go very far in such a vast organisation?
