I simply cant understant how Pep overestimate Dinamo, as I said once , the easiest opponent we have ever faced in UCL

I think you have said more than once more like half a dozen times in this thread. By your previous posts since you think we have gone too strong we should be 5 or 6 up by half time. We will see. Zagreb worse than Preston I think you said.

Strong line up. Surprised Sterling isn’t playing though. Maybe his fairly average performances lately have caught Peps attention. I would I’ve played him and put Bernardo in the middle. Glad Mahrez playing. Doesn’t deserve to sit out currently and much better when he starts.

I don’t understand how that type of choice can perplex people.

It’s a senior and seasoned international against a young kid who has barely kicked a ball.

On paper, perhaps this is an easy game but conversely it is the CL and only game 2.

Get it won, then make the changes.

The choice didn’t perplex me, I was merely saying that would be something a blue might moan about, as many do want Phil to play more and Ilkay hasn’t been pulling up trees as of late.

As I said, in Pep I trust, as he’s given me no reason not to do so.

Literally how many points have we lost with that pairing?

It's all relative to our other CM partnerships but it's our poorest one. Spurs away in the CL, Norwich a couple weeks ago perhaps? It's our weakest midfield partnership because it lacks the most energy and is the weakest when it comes to the high press. It's not even a knock on Gundogan but Foden offers more energy and industry and would be a better fit for the game.
