Disappearing thread sticky ?

To be fair there's far worse stuff to see and read online than one of our own owning up to liking a bit of penetration.

It was no better or worse than the numerous threads on here about shit/piss/vomit etc and I'd always favour sex over violence as I'm a lover and not a fighter.

I'm aware kids post on here but surely they do so at their own risk? I mean, the matchday thread can get incredibly unsavoury at times yet that's never been pulled, rightly so in my opinion.

I'm not too arsed either way to be honest, no pun intended, as I'm busy as fuck this week and have bigger things on my mind but having said that any thread on off topic that doesn't degenerate into an attack on Muslims or people of colour is a breath of fresh air to me.

I'll leave on the note that in all fairness watching Pinkwheel get bummed by his girlfriend is surely more entertaining and less offensive than some of the performances City have offered us this season.

Word on the street is that Shady pulled the thread as he suspected it was a lampoon of him as he really has a taste for strap on action. One video he sent me was of him lying face down and posting the links on the match stream thread whilst a beautiful woman slowly yet roughly penetrated him. Anyone wanting a copy of this video please PM me.

lol...you twat...you said that would never see the light of day AGAIN :(

You do have to pity the sensitive souls who feel the need to report such threads.

No doubt the same mard arse who reported it is posting in other threads now using phrases such as 'pc gone mad' over and over.

You do have to remember that this forum is read by children, it really is not the place for so called "Adult Talk"

We (the mods) can't please everybody on here as is obvious, but in the end we have to do what is best for the forum. I believe that the other Mods have explained the position quite clearly, and as far as I know we are all in agreement on this.

That's fair enough.

It's a shame though that most view sex as being worse than violence, hate and racism though.

Personally, I'd rather my kid read a fun sex thread than some of the bile, hatred and evil that some posters spew out on here.

I know BM has to appeal to the majority and has had to water its self down over the years but it is still a shame as it seems to only be affecting the decent posters and pandering to the scum.

I thought I'd gotten away with this one and it somehow had passed you by!

Ducado is a decent guy. No need to single him out, as other mods have said, it was a group decision.

Ducado like the rest of the mods has to tow the line, to a certain degree.

Seconded, Duc is a good lad.

Which is why, as I mentioned above, I wouldn't remove a thread based solely on those grounds.

Fair enough.

It's a shame we aren't all mature enough to discuss any topic under the sun. I am against censorship as a rule and think it's tragic that people are now coming on here solely to complain to the mods. No doubt the same wet bastards who after reading the papers telling them to feel outraged over Ross & Brand decided to complain to the BBC despite never hearing the radio show in question.

Like a few weeks back when I made a joke about a certain religion being quite fond of child abuse. I was hammered for that yet since me saying that there's been numerous more cases of that religion fiddling with kids.

Some people on here need to run along and leave the big boys to it.

Sorry... you didn't make a Joke! You made a statement that 'catholics are too busy fucking their kids' or words to that effect. Only when you were rightly hammered did you say it was just a joke...

Ok, let's just settle this once and for all.

The mods have consistently been repeating themselves in this thread, and have tried to explain it to you, about why the thread was pulled, yet the debate over the reasoning still continues.

You think the mods lack consistency. This is probably true. I also don't really care, we all do what we think is best, if you are convinced at how much we are monumentally fucking up, then feel free to voice your concerns to Ric, or leave. We aren't here to please everyone, we are here to enforce the guidelines that we have in place. The Code of Conduct is a basis for this, but I would imagine that when writing these, Ric expected some common sense also. It doesn't say "No Child Porn" either, but it's kind of expected that people would use their heads.

You think that there is some sort of link with the club. There isn't. To be deadly honest, Ric never really pulls any threads, as he's short on time at the moment and trusts the mods to do what they do. I very rarely pull a thread, and actually comment more on issues and singular posts than anything, as I primarily look after the server and the mod thing is kind of a byproduct. Ric has set no guidelines to the mods as far as taste and decency are concerned, and he shouldn't have to. You should all realise that this is a football forum, and not 4chan. If you want to be able to post anything at all, feel free to lobby Ric about it, or do it elsewhere. I have also seen everything from the advertisers code, to the server hosting company, etc and can tell you that there is definitely no hookup with the club. I wish people would stop saying this, as it winds everybody up, as it's an easy way out and points at a conspiracy that isn't there.

Too often people love to call the mods, "The SS", "Mary Whitehouse", and stuff along those lines. Firstly, the Code of Conduct specifically warns against this and many of you love to get a little dig in every now and again, thinking it goes unnoticed. It doesn't.
Secondly, I've seen the worst that the internet has to throw at you, and have done so without flinching. It's not about censorship or power or any of that bullshit that some like to put it down to. It's about recognising that this forum is about Man City, it is not an outlet for you to talk about every sexual urge you have, nor is it to talk about what your latest shit felt like, nor is it to talk about how you'd just love to kill a certain member. If you want this, go to 4chan, do it by PM, or alternatively, petition Ric to allow all X rated content.

It's ironic that you all scream that we are censoring twats and that we pull too many threads, yet in about a month's time, you will be screaming that we don't pull enough threads and that the forum is full of bullshit WUM posts. Also, don't think it's gone unnoticed that some of the people who are complaining about censorship here are also some of the people who were asking for the post count limit to start a new thread.

It's ok to question the mods decision by PM, it's ok to ask why certain decisions are made and suggest points on why the should be changed, it's not ok to woman from both sides of the fence because you want to appear all rebellious to your internet friends.
