That's all I do. Flask of tea. Or a flask and carry a few tea bags with me if there's a hot water machine at work.

Saves some dough too! Buying even one coffee or tea every work day is the best can end up not far off a hundred notes a month.

I don't mind going for the odd cuppa in a cafe at all, but i'm not paying for them every day and spending a good wedge per month when I can make my own.

I read this earlier and when I read this bit...

There are now 11,450 branded coffee chain outlets across the UK, up from 9,800 five years ago, according to World Coffee Portal.

And the number of independent coffee shops has also risen over the last five years from 11,700 to around 12,400 now.

...I couldn't help but think of the other thread about pubs closing down. It seems that we're moving away from a getting pissed generation and more towards a caffeinated drinks generation.

It reminds me of Victoria Coren Mitchell's English breakfast tea rant on Room 101 (which seems to have disappeared off Youtube) where she calls them "giant American children's drinks" as well as Dave Gorman's bit about how coffee has ruined tea.
