Myself and @Marvin we’re sharing ticket counting duties yesterday and there’s an easy way of working out how many are left on the planner without having to count every single unsold seat. As of last night there were just over 2300 left. Hope that helps
 
Well f**k the press/media I have got my mojo back :)

Filled the car up last night using my 5p of per litre voucher !

I have feed the birds in my garden, said goodbye to the missus as she goes to work

Having a brew and trying to decide what time to leave I guess about 10am, only 300 miles but sometimes in takes nearly 10 hrs (Atlanta game did).

Apologies for the Collymore reference, but F365 seem to have a fairly balanced attitude to the attendance thing.

In the Daily Mirror, Stan Collymore is busy telling Manchester City fans how to spend their money – in his COLLYWOBBLER section – writing that ‘they dined on tripe for years and now it’s caviar they are munching on, yet they still don’t always fill the place’.

Pesky fact: The FA Cup home clash with Fulham was their 18th home game of the season and their 19th – against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup – will take place just three days later.

Pissy opinion: Those blessed with money are on really dodgy ground telling those without how to spend theirs.

we had a larger attendance on Sunday than there was at villa park last night (not capacity) - despite only a handful of Fulham fans and Sunday lunchtime KO etc and it being Villa's biggest game for years. Where's the media outrage???

Not content with turning the Etihad into the ‘Theatre of Cheese’ the way they are with the media just shows them up for what they are, spineless.

What really pisses me off is we as a club and fans don't brag about our current success, we know who we are and where we come from. It's pure jealousy and it's all they have left.
We need to employ somebody to counter these lies and provide facts and figures. (Gary James has been mentioned).

They might be standing on top of the floodlights with a megaphone shouting out that Villas attendance was worse than ours, but if no one reports it no one will hear the message. That is why Pep having digs at us and bigging up the Rags and Dips is so annoying. The club need to tell Pep to stick to football and stop giving the press ammunition.

The PR/Media people at City are totally invisible and that is just so unfair on all the loyal fans who turn up to support the club home and away, and feel the brunt of all the negative media shite from every direction .

Simon Heggie or whoever is responsible needs a fucking shake up , because he is failing , and ailianating many who feel disconnected with the club.

I am sure PB and others will have made this point, but it needs driving home until the approach changes.

Pep is getting flack from many for the comment about attendance but the PR department are getting away with doing sweet fuck all as far as most of us are abler to see.
 
Ok, was a bit bored so I've looked at home attendances for games not including league. I've included Community shield but not aways, although I acknowledge we take a lot away. I also know that not all home games are 100% blues, but it's a proxy.
I've used capacity to show how many additional times we've sold out the equivalent of our stadium v the other top 6. An additional 359k through the gate outside the premier league is a fair chunk of money coming out of our pockets. Apologies for any errors.

Arsenal - 279k - 5 games - 4.64 * capacity
Livarpool - 291k - 6 games - 5.46 * capacity
Spuds - 219k - 4 games - 3.51 * capacity
Scum - 431k - 7 games - 5.76 * capacity
God's own- 359k - 8 games - 6.53 * capacity
Chelsea - 237k - 6 games - 5.81 * capacity.

And we're still in all comps. Would have put the table in but I'm a div and don't know how.
