Yet Kieran paid half a million in tax, so he is one of those high earners, if he thinks a firefighter should be on £25 an hour that’s 66% rise, I’m sure they’d take that. The bollocks about Ukraine gets me, if we didn’t get involved then do you think Russia would supply us cheap gas, it was already on the rise, also we would be spending a lot more on defence as they moved to NATOs borders.
Kieran going on about the banking and why are still talking about it, because we are still paying for it and all his ilk who put us in that position, the government and private sector (bankers) have put us in these positions not that nurse, firefighter, the cleaner. So fuck off Kieran.

Yep they were both completely deluded about Ukraine. The impact of the Ukraine war as far as energy costs are concerned is absolutely nothing to do with our support for Ukraine. A few billion in military and humanitarian aid is peanuts compared to the impact on the economy caused by the shock to markets in gas, oil and various food commodities. Goes to show that you don’t have to be particularly smart to earn hundreds of thousands as a banker.

Ringing up a talk show to say "we're all in it together" when you're a millionaire isn't particularly smart.

Each and every one of us makes use of the state education system every single day.
It may be the cashier at the local shop giving you the correct change because they learnt sums in school, it may be the plumbers repairing the broken pipes to get the water back on in your house, or maybe turning on the TV or light using electricity installed by a spark educated by the state, but EVERYONE uses the state education system.

Have met quite a few of the "senior figures" over the years and remember the current president sitting proudly showing me photos on her phone she had taken from the train that day
