First forty five minutes some of the best football I've seen from any team.

Indeed it was.

The passing, the movement and the pressing off the ball was simply world class to a man.

We outdid Barca at their best in that first half.

Steady on mate
Barca have played like that in champions league finals

We will do so too mate.

We are about to take it to a whole new level.

Best manager in the league. Managing the best team in the league. Hence it looks like we're going to break some records.

Still a long way to go but the way Pellegrini has the team playing - it is comfortably the greatest City team I've ever seen, consistently playing some of the best football I've ever seen by any team.

Good post.

I'd go for first 25minutes. From then until half time we gave the ball away a little bit.

I liked the little smile when he was asked about the title, then he tried to play it down...then I liked the raise of his eyebrows and the look in his eye when he was asked about the Transfer Window, then he tried to play it down. His expressions told us more than his words did. He thinks we're going to win the title!

Yes mate, it's beautiful.

Six months and this is the team he's weaved. It can get better.

If that game tonight had finished 15-0 spuds couldn't have complained.

The first 30 mins, until Marriner let them kick us, was the best I've EVER seen us play.

That first 25 minutes was the best football I've ever seen us play. Pressing, passing, defending, and all 11 players mentally and physically playing at light speed. I had to remember to breathe, the ball was pinging around so fast and so unpredictably that I struggled to follow it with my eyes. I can't imagine what it's like for an opposing player.

He's an excellent manager. The way he has unified the squad, and got the best out of players who had previously under performed, is admirable. Seems to have real authority and dignity, and has got us playing the best football I have ever seen at City. An inspired appointment by Begiristain and Soriano. Just needs to convert it into trophies now.

I aught to have quantified that by saying 'some of the football' in the first 45mins

Brilliant

How many people were crying out for a 5 man midfield away from home early in the season? And how many are saying it now? He had his beliefs, stuck to them through the wobble because he believed in them and has been proved resoundingly, crushingly fucking right.

A brilliant manager. I trust him 100%. Glory time is around the corner. We are lighting up the football world- and we are still under the radar a bit.

We haven't even put our best eleven out once this season. Think about that...
