Re: Discussion: Manuel Pellegrini (2014/15)

when he knew company wasn't doing out for the 2nd half he should not only have changed the centre half (obviously) he should have made the midfield more defensive....two defensive midfielders and toure a free role or off the pitch...

he then loses his legs in midfield (milner) so brings on nasri.........completely the wrong substitute to bring on again.......

so many decisions consistently wrong........in single games and throughout the whole season as well...and the worst part about it is that its obvious mistakes

we all knew utds threat today - what did MP do to cobalt it....asks the one man in our team who cannot defend to defend against him - laughable

you either play yaya in the only way he can now operate or you don't play him at all.

Re: Discussion: Manuel Pellegrini (2014/15)

I've stood by Pellegrini but this is too much. The players haven't covered themselves in glory but for whatever reason they're not playing for him. Yaya, Nasri and Milner look like they've already left the club.

Re: Discussion: Manuel Pellegrini (2014/15)

Think I'm finally swinging around to sacking him, if only because we unfortunately can't sack the players despite most of them deserving it, and hopefully it would relieve enough tension to see us over the line by the end of the season.

The collective crumbling we've been witnessing this season has far surpassed anything we saw with the supposed 'crisis' under Mancini. Perhaps he just had the stones to keep at least some of the team pushing on.

If ANYONE still thinks Pellegrini is a good manager I think they need their sanity questioning.

I think it's become obvious now to even die hard MP loyalists that while the team still plays offensively he's destroyed any defensive strategy left over by Mancini.

You could fit a bus through the holes in that back 4 today. And no defense cover what so ever in midfield.

This has to be our worst loss this season against team that's been very predictable. Absolute shambles and he needs to go.

God knows how you're going to distinguish after what's happened today. Probably best you just take a night off and let everyone get on with it.

Only think left to discuss is what time tonight he will be shown the door because there is simply no point in letting him take charge of another game when quite clearly he's lost the dressing room.

Would you rather 100 threads be made or people do it here?

Because it's gonna happen regardless.

Re: Discussion: Manuel Pellegrini (2014/15)

Burnley was the performance that should have seen the back of this manager. A disorganised, demotivated, dejected, disjointed shambles. Pellegrini has delivered this.
