Everyone was on about his XI today, but that XI turned out to be more than perfect. Should he have brought on Kelechi? Yes, but who do you take off? Sterling and Navas were stretching them like anything. You could take off Yaya/Fernando but thats not the easiest decision.

Got a horrible, horrible feeling he's going to start Yaya and Fernando in a 2 man midfield tonight.

It's never worked in a league game, the 4-1 home demolition by Liverpool was the last time he tried it.

Delph has to play tonight. Whether in a 3 or a 2, we cannot afford another disaster of the manager picking Yaya and Fernando in a 2.

No amount of "trust" will make those 2 have enough energy and legs to cover the ground required.
Looks like you were spot on fella.......... Where were you when I needed you on Saturday with the winning lottery numbers!! :-)

Navas doesn't really offer much when he starts. Everything down his side tends to die in the final third, he rarely beats the first man.

He really is a clown. He's so inept it's beyond belief.

The frustrating thing about it is we are stuck with him till the summer.

Taken us backwards over his tenure. Impressive work Manuel. The best squad in the league the past 3 years and he's taken us from title winners to top 4 contenders.

But a lot of our threat also came from his side. That said he could have done that sub but its not a crime to not do it, it wasnt as easy an decision as its been before for him.

Stretching means nothing if they're doing fuck all with the ball. I could stretch them. Just run about the wing all night offering bugger all every time you get the ball. Not good enough. Kelechi should have been on from the start, and if not then at half time and if not then - the very latest 60 minutes.

To leave an attacking option like that sitting on his arse when we - despite dominating possession - rarely looked like scoring is criminal.
