Most of our chances came from turning over Everton in dangerous areas. When we had to build up we very rarely broke them down. Tempo was a bit better second half, but overall I've been very disappointed with it
A point is disappointing, but not the end of the world, but I was very disappointed with the performance. It didn't look like we wanted to win that game. I am sure we did, but it didn't look like it at all. Did the players not really believe in the plan, whatever it was? The 1st half was instantly forgettable and the 2nd half we got to the byline repeatedly. Almost every attack ended up with City crossing from the deadball line but there was no one there.
I think Pellegrini is losing grip. Strange subs.
This season could end up being the worst for years unless there is a sustained improvement. Worse than 2012/2013 atm, although at least we won the Community Shield that year and played in a cup final.
Also, I thought the Arse looked good tonight. Better than we've been lately.
And why the hell is he not starting Nacho?
Yeah, he could have done that. Or he could expect the high priced players on the field to score 1 of this 22 shots. How irrational of him.Or maybe a manager who could of brought an in form raring to go young striker on. Maybe he'd of put some of those shots away?
So, when we win, it is the players, but when we don't win, it is the bad coach? Very logical. We won it because the players decided to as they were glad to see Mancini go.
We had the best side by some distance that season and we do this one too.
I think any PL manager would have won the league if they were in charge of us that season.
Time to get an interim.
