Of course Wenger is better than Pelegrini, there's no comparison.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm expecting from next season, but given our summer activity so far I'm erring on the side of not being a whole lot different to last season. Same manager, largely the same squad, only one decent different addition in Sterling. We needed some big additions this summer and as of now we've fallen very short. I also don't want to hear Pellegrini or anyone else bang on about playing beautiful football. Its not an excuse for a complete lack of defensive ability, or lack of desire to press the opposition for longer than five minutes at the start of a game.

I'm just confused how we've gone about this. Even if we get Pep next summer, we've turned our nose up at Ancelotti and Klopp. Have the club just conceded that we won't won anything this year? If we carry on like last season for another year we will be in deep deep trouble.

One of my main concerns is that Pelle will stifle the development of Nacho, Denayer, Lopes etc.

It's also a total lie. We haven't played beautiful football since Pellegrini's first 6 months. Turgid is how I would describe the footy we played last season.

He really looks like a nice, old, tired man, meek, uninspiring, and just repeating what he believes are politically correct answers. He does nothing to add to brand equity of the club when it comes to external stakeholders, and I am not even convinced of his capabilities when it comes to his primary responsibilities - coaching and team management. If we were to draw a, say, 3 month moving average line of team performances since he took over, it would be pointing down. Not a drastic decline, but still, certainly not what the Arabs had in mind.

His supposedly attacking football gradually progressed into endless, mostly sideways passing, zero-threat set pieces, and weak defense.

If these rumors about Pep are true, what is Pellegrini still doing with us? - how motivated can he be? It's basic psychology, and I just hope it does not reflect on team performances, otherwise, he'll be gone in December. I was hoping it would be now, though.

And for the record, I really hope he proves me and all other sceptics wrong.

Of course Wenger is better than Pelegrini, there's no comparison.

i think Wenger has some of the same traits ie his stubborness personally since both post Mancini and Cook our transfers have on the whole been shite and team formation etc has been shite.

That was preparation for WBA and yet we made loads of changes. We're supposed to be getting practise and team play sorted out and yet there are changes right left and centre in the final pre-season game. Judging by that performance from the back 4 they need the max time together on the pitch.

A bit concerning.
