big 3 games coming up , we could be top of the league again ,top the group in cl and into semi final in the cup , fingers crossed

Interesting point. Makes you wonder why Spurs sacked Sherwood

Did he win a league and cup double?

No, didn't think so.

On the point of win% though, what would be acceptable for a new manager given that Pellegrini's record which is one of the best anywhere isn't good enough for some on here?

Genuine question?

Well offer something, How have I lost the plot?

If you can't see it for yourself mate it's pointless telling you, what they have is a manager who has his squad playing greater than the sum of its parts, pretty much like Klopp yesterday.

there squad isn't a patch on ours-and it's a sad reflection that we are not at least 6-8 points clear of the chasing pack, and I include united in that who by the way are above us in the league through the pragmatism of there manager.

How many managers have won a league and cup double in their first ever season in England?

Check his win% out in his time with us

Look at the amount of goals we have scored and despite being led to believe this season is dead and buried reading some of the posts on here it's not.

His record is excellent and to suggest otherwise is ridiculous imo.

We've scored less goals than Leicester this season, and conceded more than Stoke and Palace - among others.

He'll be judged at the end of the season for me then I'll weigh up how he's done. Only a big finish and silverware will make his tenure here a successful one.

Good point it must have been the silverware bit
Listen to some on here and that double has set him up for life here. On the plus side Perez saw him for what he is after 1 season. We are slow but I'm sure we will see the light soon enough. Only another 6 months to go

Did you catch yesterday's debacle? Did it look familiar to other debacles?
That's the problem - he keeps reverting to the same mistakes.

It was utter garbage both off and on the pitch. I've said exactly that and don't need to keep repeating it but if a manager who has such a fantastic record isn't good enough then who and what is because no one else out there would fair much better in such a tough league imo.

As fans we need to accept that there is another side out there competing every week and they too have some talent off and on the pitch. We will know who has the best come the end of the season, not now imo.

Very difficult to win a league and cup double when you are there for less than 30 games.

As I have said Perez saw mr 75% for what he is. I'm sure we will too

What is this fantastic record you speak of? Did I miss all these trophies he came with?
