Don't get me wrong I think we shoukd be a lot better than we are with the money spent. But Liverpool have spent a ton as have Chelsea. Yesterday aside they are both hardly pulling up trees. There are about 100 posts on the game thread whose collective hearts sank when the teams were announced. I wonder how many were wanting City to fail so they could 1 Blame MP. 2 Justify a change ie Pep. 3 Rant at the game as usual.

After 2 dour nil nil draws and a scratchy win against Norwich, I'm sure there were loads of fans who wanted us to lose yesterday so we could come on here and have a go a Pellegrini. In fact people were that happy with it they all left at 75 mins so they could vent first.

As fans we need to accept that there is another side out there competing every week and they too have some talent off and on the pitch. We will know who has the best come the end of the season, not now imo.

If Khaldoon was extremely disappointed with last season (his words) God knows how he will react come may if it was a fruitless campaign after shelling out over £150 million, winning the league cup won't be enough either.

Silverware at 6 of his clubs he has managed and a win% of just under 65% for us with well over 300 goals scored in his short tenure is a fantastic record to me.

If its not for you then fair enough.

I agree but as i alluded to earlier, he could win all 4 pots this year and make history but still be gone come the summer if the stars align and its that waiting for a certain individual that is not helping him, the team or us as fans right now imo.

So you think some people fork out £700 a season hoping we lose to come back on a football forum to gloat and prove a point, errrrrrr.

Its tough swimming against the tide mate but keep at it. Your not on your own.

Let me just tell you mate, if this team doesn't bag the title or at least run it to the last game or two it would be an epic fuck up, only a CL final would stop it being 10 times as bad as last season with the money the sheikh has shelled out.
