He does have a point though.....

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini says the "complete team" must take responsibility for the 2-0 defeat at Stoke but points out his team are challenging in four competitions with only 13 players.

I still stand by that opinion, I thought the same at the time and still do.

This.

I wouldn't have seen the point sacking after OT last season, but 100% should have been given his marching orders come seasons end. A bad decision then looks absolutely terrible now. To not sack him will kill our chances of a top 4 finish this season.

turned the best defence into a shambles

complete inability/willing to change his set up to make up for loss of players ...the only time he has done he has been practically forced to by player availability.

has never had the balance right and now we look bang average going forward.

he got lucky inheriting the team he did and has taken us backwards

i also think the obsession with the champs league really doesn't help - i can understand from a financial and expose point of view but in reality even with a fully fit and functioning squad playing at the top of their potential we still would struggle under MP as his tactical plan leaves us hugely exposed...chelsea won it by playing such negative football (i wouldn't want to do that) but would need get the balance right to get very far.

Regardless of how this season ends up i want him gone -his time is up and i think he has lost the dressing room (no evidence except players reactions so really just an opinion)
