Mancini took over a club that had won nothing for over 30 years. He made us winners, no mean feat in the circumstances, taking on and beating Ferguson. Pellegrini took over arguably the best club in England and then spent 200 million on improving it. Has consistently struggled to impose himself on Mourinho, Wenger et al. I rest my case.

I wouldn't let an inner see that you'll be constantly be reminded of how he masterminded our league win back in 2014

I think we should go 4222 again.

Fuck it why not. It brought us a title in 2014 and the defence wasn't better then, we simply outscored opponents and kept the ball more. It's pellegrini's preferred formation, it's the one he used at every club he'd ever been at until 2015 and now we aren't using it we look shit. Lets just go back to that and see if we can't start outscoring people again.

I came round to their view that Mancini had to go due to upsetting too many players. But I maintain that they were still the best team and Pellegrini's light touch enabled them to fulfill their potential again, just. However in terms of building his own team with a lot of money he has in my opinion failed abysmally.

Pellergrini will need to buck his ideas up next season .
Will he have learned from his mistakes last season i doubt it .
City are taking a major risk keeping him on .
I haven't forgotten the rubbish I had to suffer at Liverpool and Burnley .
And that rubbish draw against Hull at home .

Bet its like dejavu at the moment!

So is that

Delph Fernandinho
de Bruyne Silva
Kun Sterling

Probably Yaya still. We'd be defensive frail, but lets face it, we are currently wank anyway defensively. Bony would look much better in a 2 as well, because he'd not be required to do all the running himself, he'd be fine to get involved in the build up and waddle into the box.
