Reigning champions of Spain, 3rd in La Liga and last 8 in the chumps with a genuine chance of progressing.

If you don't think they're a top side, you have amazingly high standards.

He's got a point though.

They are not at the level yet of Real, Bayern and Barca. Despite their excellent recent record and record against Real they have to keep winning things for a while in order to be considered a top side just like Dortmund aren't a top side.
But are we talking "top" side or "top top" side?
Well everyone here is sh*tting themselves over the fact that we may not qualify for the Champions League, but in fact Atletico are closer to dropping out of the qualifying positions than we are. Since they lost Costa and Courtois I'd say they've dropped down from a very good team that punches above it's weight to become elite, to simply being a good team that punches above their weight to become very good.

They're doing ok in the Champions League this season thanks to the one-off nature of its matches, I'd dispute the idea that they are again one of the favourites though.

Let's hope something works out no matter which one of these guys ends up coming here.
Thinking about it, it looks like Pep has given them an ulitimatum " me or the Doc" and the board have obviously chose Pep.

Things falling apart at Bayern, apparently Pep has tried to blame his medical staff for the loss at Porto and in response every single one of them has resigned.

Link?

Can't find anything about resignations or Pep's comments, just that Rummenigge the CEO blamed injury and fatigue.

Don't know if Pep is trying to join us in the summer, looks like there has been a bit of a barney at Munich and all the medical staff have resigned

I heard big Pep blamed them for injured players and they resigned. By the way the doctor was legendary role there he was there for more than 15 years imo.
Update. This doctor was there since 1977!!! So more like 40 years lol.

I wonder did Pep say hello to the medical staff in recent days. If he came here and wouldnt be nice with Chappy, he could find himself axed quite soon.

I believe the entire medical team have resigned en masse.
