IMO,I'd agree that Sterling ain't there yet,but has time on his side,again IMO,KDB is up there,with more to come.
Think he's brought a few kids in also,who I don't know much about to be honest,1-2-3 years,who knows how these kids will turn out?

Still think both are lacking a bit in the big games, hopefully it'll come.
To think someone like Alderweireld cost £20 million less than Mangala is absolutely insane. Even that Kante at Leicester looks twice the player of Fernando, and cost them just £6 million.
Who's the last player we signed who has massively over exceeded their price tag? Kompany? I know City have the "premium" added on but it doesn't seem like there is much in depth scouting being done. Although, they probably would of have to have gone deep on Fernando and Mangala to have found redeeming football qualities.

There's a fair bit that he's done that just doesn't seem to fit a long-term succession plan of Pep. Fernando & Delph being key, not upgrading Nasri to someone who will try, and Bony as well.
You could easily cull 10 players from our current squad without blinking and eye up top class replacements. It won't happen, I just hope in the unlikely event we did pull Messi off, that it's paid for by sponsors and we still have a usual transfer budget to really fix the squad.
