With an increasing number of staff it must get to a point when it isn't practical to give them all 2 free s/c especially if they don't use them for themselves as some of the staff must be fans of other teams or maybe not even football fans.

I take it that they will be taxed on this 'perk' as well, in the same way that waiters get taxed on tips, people get taxed on company cars etc. so maybe they will end up paying less tax. And paying tax on it makes it less free, if that makes sense?

This is one I am 50-50 on because it is a bit much suddenly saying that they are going to take this away from them but why 2 anyway? Why not just one for the member of staff?

But I can't see anyone giving up a good job because they are losing what is basically a bonus can you?

Once again we get half a story and probably an exaggerated one at that.

Gonna play devils advocate here and ask that if these season tickets have been a part of the employees contract on top of the salary then I think they have a right to complain if the tickets have been taken away. Surely it's just the same as saying we're going to pay you £500 less per year from now on. It's irrelevant what other clubs do or don't about their season tickets and their staff members.
