I am astonished they were getting not ONE but TWO season tickets a year anyway!

The way i look at it it free's up more tickets for real fans,not just workers who may not even support the club and could be selling them on.

They get paid to do a job and any perks on top are always at the employers discretion and can be withdrawn or added to at any time,the same as any job.Stop fucking whining!

The main issue is the amount of the stadium that will be filled with staff now that the number of staff i rowing rapidly. When the club was smaller a few years ago, 2 season tickets isnt a problem as there are less employees, say 500 employees = 1000 tickets. as the club has grown, so has the number of employees. You still give them 2 season tickets and we end up with 2000 employees = 4000 tickets being given away and 10% of the stadium filled with staff. Imagine if Madrid gave 2 tickets to each staff member. They probably have enough staff all over the world to fill the stadium twice over with staff members!

I think this is probably the best argument on the whole thread and closer to the truth. As the staff are being compensated financially I don't really see their complaint as a valid one.

They are currently getting 2 x free ST worth, for example, £1000. Now they will get two half price tickets and a £500 cash bonus. They are exactly the same however if staff don't want a ST they don't have to have one. The cash generated from the ST sales goes towards FFP. The cash bonus doesn't effect FFP as most non football staff are now paid by another company.

I have had my terms and conditions of employment/pension changed recently so whats the issue?If they don't like it they should just resign...Still getting it half price so what's the problem?

I'm not saying they are entitled to anything except what they have been promised. I am pissed off about my changes so they have a right to be as well

No I wasn't happy and i to am an employee within the public sector however having a young family to support what choice did I have.We arent talking about free tickets here mate we are talking having to work an extra ten yrs and pay more contributions.Now the employees are moaning at city for fuck all reason whoever it is...they have lost fuck all.

How thoughtless to only offer half price season cards what a joke. If these people are not happy with a 50% discount how about they look elsewhere and see if they can get freebies over at the swamp or anywhere else for that matter.

They could always try getting a new job and leaving the one they have for someone who would appreciate it for what it is (half price season tickets is still an amazing little bonus). As others have said terms of employment change for everyone and while people are rarely happy with that they dont go snivelling to the press to get their perks back.
