Agreed Leicester played well but how much of that is down to the defence bottled it at every cross and gave them confidence that mistakes would happen. We let them off the hook in 2nd half when we should have come out firing after late goal.

Don't you just love the way that anyone who criticises anything is dismissed as being a "rag"?
The more I read these things, the more I realise that our fans are deluded fuckwits, who are happy to settle for any old shit as long as it was better than the Bristol Rovers game in 98-99.
We'd have won that game by a bag full if we had carried on playing as we did in the first half (assuming we'd tighten up on corners), yet, for reasons best known to the manager, we decided to abandon the formation, slap our three midfielders permanently in our own third of the field and let them do the work. As a result, we invite them to have possession, we invite them to have territory, and we build up their confidence.
This team of ours is good enough to speculate to accumalate, especially against lower division opposition, it's surely good enough to take the game to them, to be the boss, to be in charge, yet we continue to endanger things at the other end of the field with a no attack, no risk (which ends up being 'total risk') policy.
Tactics are totally stifling this team's ability. It's no wonder some of our players are visibly tearing their hair out. Give them a bit more poetic licence and this team is certainly good enough to break the 35 year spell. Stifle them like we do and we will win fuck all. Sweet fuck all!

Yeah, I think you're right, in as much as we didn't push it fully and that we could have hammered them if we had a solid defensive line. However, I felt that that first minute goal knocked the confidence of the guys in front, so they were a little more tempered than usual. Disappointing, but happy that we'll do them at the CoM
