Disgusting...

I have never been called a rag on here and it would not bother me in the slightest if I was, and i dont get why it upsets poster so much, would rather that than being called a **** or a fucking **** now that would maybe make me growl at my screen for a second, sorry for going off topic but just had to mention it

What annoys me is the title "Disgusting...". When I saw the title I thought the thread might be about some fan misbehaviour or stewards acting like cocks but no, a draw in a tricky away Cuptie is "Disgusting...". What a load of bollocks.
Totally agree. We are still in the cup thats the main thing.

The one thing i will take away from this game is if Kompany gets injured we could be in a spot of trouble. Without him the organisation of the defence is non existent

Don't you just love the way that anyone who criticises anything is dismissed as being a "rag"?

The more I read these things, the more I realise that our fans are deluded fuckwits, who are happy to settle for any old shit as long as it was better than the Bristol Rovers game in 98-99.

We'd have won that game by a bag full if we had carried on playing as we did in the first half (assuming we'd tighten up on corners), yet, for reasons best known to the manager, we decided to abandon the formation, slap our three midfielders permanently in our own third of the field and let them do the work. As a result, we invite them to have possession, we invite them to have territory, and we build up their confidence.

This team of ours is good enough to speculate to accumalate, especially against lower division opposition, it's surely good enough to take the game to them, to be the boss, to be in charge, yet we continue to endanger things at the other end of the field with a no attack, no risk (which ends up being 'total risk') policy.

Tactics are totally stifling this team's ability. It's no wonder some of our players are visibly tearing their hair out. Give them a bit more poetic licence and this team is certainly good enough to break the 35 year spell. Stifle them like we do and we will win fuck all. Sweet fuck all!

Totally agree.Sometimes offence is the best form of defence.

This is definitely a problem on this board. It does seem like anyone who ever has anything in any way negative to say simply gets branded as a Rag.

Its frustrating to see as it stifles debate, which is supposed to be what forums are all about. If no-one can have an opinion which diverts from the "Everything and everyone who has anything to do with City are brilliant, and could not be improved in any way" Party Line without being brainlessly referred to as a Rag, it will make this place very boring.

Having said all that, I do actually believe that this poster is a Rag - either that, or one of those City 'fans' who follows the team but doesn't actually support them, choosing instead to use their following of City as an outlet to moan incessantly about everything they do. I don't think I've ever seen him make a single positive statement about the Club, which makes you wonder why he bothers.

Unfortunately, Eastlands is full of 'fans' like these - who seem to pay their money and turn up every week just to shout abuse at the players and wind themselves up. Strange behaviour, to say the least.

But what people tend not to notice is that these posters may equally be as positive when they have something to be positive about. The thing is, this guy has had the guts on here to say things as he thinks it is and all he gets is a belly full of abuse. Abuse from people who never have the balls or intelligence to start threads of their own.

I never shout abuse at players in the ground, it's counter-productive, but when on a forum, I'll open my mouth, say what is my opinion and not be intimidated out of that opinion just because the masses of sheep say it is not so.

Today, our second half tactics were deplorable; we were negative, we sat our three midfielders deep and we humiliated our forward three again by completely isolating them. Every neutral fan I have spoke to noticed it. The only ones that don't are the deluded clowns on this board who cannot see anything wrong in our management team.

It says something when every football pundit in the land and every football supporters not of the sky blue persuasion can see it, yet our own do not. There has to come a time when realism is taken more seriously than hope, surely.

Dared to tell it how it is without sugar coating it.

You didn't tell it how it is. You told it as you see it, there's a huge difference. Your opinion was knee jerk at best and moronic at worst.

Leicester a tricky away cup tie..hahahaha don't make me laugh...

A top 8 prem team away would be a tricky away cup tie not a mid table championship team.

FFS is this as far as we have come that you still think we shouldn't be being outplayed by mid table championship teams.

I give up...

How do you think we will go on next season when we could be playing away to Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern or the swamp. now they could be tricky away cup ties.

I'm being moronic?. Your bus window comment would take some beating for a moronic post.

Well according to your logic we're not good enough to qualify anyway so that's a moot point really.

I think we actually agree with eachother mate - I was just making a comment about this specific example.

I do think today was an awful performance by the players, who didn't seem remotely interested in being there (apart from Milner, and sporadic flashes of quality from Tevez), and I don't think Mancini helped the situation in any way.

Leicester looked better organised, and far more up for it, and we looked like a disparate bunch of very talented players for whom playing in the FA Cup means very little - the only positive I can take is that we didn't lose the game, so we're still in the competition.
