I'm not passing judgement on Russell Brand, like I say, he's an irrelevant scruff in the great scheme of things.
My comment is aimed more at C4, apparently sensationalising a non-story about a non-entity.

I’d have probably given him the benefit of the doubt had he not made that video. He got up to a lot of naughtiness back in the day but within those circles I imagine a lot was consensual with enough groupie action to keep him satisfied.

The BBC has been going downhill for 40 years in my opinion. I very rarely watch it nowadays, only MOTD on a regular basis.

The simple fact that the appalling "Mrs Brown's Boys" is one of BBC's 'flagship' shows says everything you need to know about the company.
