Yeah; and Dunne has been with us what, 7 or 8 years now. The whole point of this thread, looking at the title, is Distin's perceived lack of loyalty to his clubs. Distin left us because of a lack of ambition on our part. Now he's using the same excuse at Pompey.

Yeah and Dunne wanted out as well before the money came along

Disitn was never all that; overrated at best, average run of the mill defender. Was a good player for us and never understood the fuss about him leaving for career reasons. His decision was vindicated when he won the FA Cup - the only major honour of his career. Never capped by France, and to my knowledge never called into the squad (to be fair he did have some quality in front of him). But he can’t get a squad place now and considering Frances available defenders at present and the time he's spent in top-flight English football, speaks volumes. Definite no.
