Ditching Sky

Zgemma boxs, if thats the box your going for (that was the price differential earlier Bigga, better box bigger price) are the budget end of the market but perform pretty well, the tuners can be a bit flakey compared to VU+ but since my duo popped last week and i didn't have the hip cash, i plumped for the H2 dual tuner (sat and cable) at a price of £50 plus pennies and i must say performs pretty well. not as many bells and whistles as my duo and the lack of any decent ram means i dont mess with the apps (though many report they are functional) since firesticks and plex server are much better for that.

i flashed another image to it and got it up and running with auto updates on bouquets and epg that looks similar to a well known satellite tv service provider in about 1/2 hr (and i'm a bit rusty at that)

Again sorry i cannot recommend any service providers please don't be offended

My little xmbc box keeps getting in red error 404, is it done for?

Buy one of these if you just want it for films/tv the fire stick is fine.

Nvidia shield tv £150
Amazon fire tv 2 £80
Amazon fire stick £39

How much did you for yours?

And, generally speaking, is it better to buy the box and customise it yourself or buy the whole shebang, depending on the right price?
If you have a Samsung or LG smart tv you don't need to buy a box.
I've got a software called Plex installed and through that I pay £80 for a years IPTV which includes around 500 worldwide channels, highlights of which are all premiership matches in HD and around 100 USA channels.

'Kin 'ell! More info to battery my head with! Really like US TV, but no good if I can't record!

And this IPTV, does it give me live footy?

Thanks for posting, BTW!

ALL premiership matches live in HD,in fact I was just watching Leeds against Fleetwood.
Also show previous matches as well.

I'll try and post a full video later on showing all the functions and channels you get for your £80.
