DJ / PJ Audits

Auditing Britain, another auditor, mainly does public buildings and police stations. As a result he usually gets more confrontation. It's actually quite unnerving how many tyrant's there are out there when they're given a bit of perceived power. The same with the police some behave like thugs and don't know the law, or choose to ignore it. Ego drives them, they hate being challenged. AB has sued them many times and gives any money won to charity.
Ego is what drives these auditors. Wandering round car showrooms shoving cameras into peoples faces while they're trying to go about their work. We can all exercise our legal rights. I'm sure I can find some loophole somewhere that means I can spend my days basically trying to annoy the fuck out of decent, hardworking people but I like to think of myself as one of them. You said yourself that they push it to get a reaction. I'd suggest that's exactly what they set out to do. Same as the fuckwits who stand filming outside of police stations and then act the innocent when asked what they're up to.

Watched one the other day from PJE Media. Went into a used car showroom in Birmingham and spent a good hour pressing the buttons of the owner.

Long story short, the owner phoned some heavies who tried to run him over, then chased him over a train track. He got away with what surely would have been one hell of a beating.

He very nearly got what he asked for.

This is the point. They don't have the courtesy to ask the businesses if they can film, they just turn up. If their videos were made to enlighten us as to how businesses operate, this would be the way they'd go about it. They don't though. Their absolute aim is to provoke a reaction and then post the video with a sensational title.

Glad our security was well informed and didn't give the prick a reaction.

Yes, very irritating people who know exactly what they’re doing. That little prick DJ Audits must be making mint off it, which is even more annoying.

It doesn’t sound like anyone comes across particularly well here.

If you’re filming from the street, as these guys often do, you don’t need permission. That’s the point.

Obviously if you’re standing on someone else’s land and they ask you to leave, you are obliged to.

No they didn’t, and the company in question was then bombarded with negative reviews on various sites and social media. So the twat with his little camera got the reaction he craved, but the company went about it all wrong. I suppose that’s the result of being wound up for well over an hour by someone who just wouldn’t listen.

Exactly.

One of these YouTube audits guys was responsible for a company (somewhere near Urmston I think) getting done for basically pouring dangerous industrial chemicals down the grids on the road outside their factory. Obviously disgusting behaviour and they'd have got away with it if it wasn't for some bloke with a GoPro...so fair play to them tbh.
Where I used to park on croft street (before the parking restrictions) one of the chemical companies on there often had a leakage of what smelt like shampoo or similar into the drains. Guess it's illegal.

They are a bit played out now as quite a few firms are wise to them wanting a reaction.
I always fast forward to the moment of confrontation.
Its amazing that every firm they visit have at least one Rumpole Of The Bailey who is an expert on The Terrorism Act, Privacy Laws and the Law Of Trespass.
Face is saved by insisting that the Auditor moves about 6 inches back on to public land.
There is one Auditor who doesn’t bother with Industrial Sites, they are usually bog standard boring, he goes after drug dealers etc.
There is a video of him giving the drug dealers a hard time in Piccadilly Gardens and then confronting the police who were just stood watching as to why they don’t stop the blatant dealing.
The bloggers are going to have to re invent themselves as more and more have jumped on the band wagon.
