I just thought

I think you're taking it a bit too seriously if you were expecting all of that from a Tarantino film. It was the sort of thing we've come to expect from him and I enjoyed it immensely. But yes there were plenty of gaping holes in it, there usually are with his films; you just have to turn your brain off for a bit and enjoy it for what it is.

it was either that or get treated worse than a dog.
i don't blame them.

i enjoyed the film, it did annoy me though at the end because he could have easily just said he wanted a german speaking slave, as people have already mentioned, and they could have got away with it.

i preferred inglorious basterds to be honest, anyway that christopher waltz is brilliant.
