Do Aliens actually exist ?

I listen to this guy Sean Carroll he’s very knowledgeable in Quantum Mechanics, Physic and Philosophy. If I’m patient I can pick up things I didn’t know.

It’s a complicated parallel universe explanation

How many have no atmosphere?
How many have no water?
How many have no magnetosphere?
How many have no outer giants hoovering up major asteroid threats?
How many orbit a suitable star?
How many have the right conditions for life to start?
How many have sustained it beyond the first extinction event?
How many have evolved beyond slime?

Cox with all his knowledge reckons one per galaxy.

ffs dennis if there are 200billion galaxies, and each one contains just one planet where intelligent life evolved , because of all the points you have alluded to, then there are 200 billion planets with intelligent life. But we don't know do we.

Other life forms hmmmm I’d say yes, absolutely no way are we the only ones in the vastness of outer space and the hundreds if not thousands of galaxies..as for the distance involved in reaching earth, would I be silly in thinking they have technology way way way beyond our comprehension..
I think there is life out there, somewhere, in what form, maybe just fish or plants, or animal.
I don't hold with all this UFO bollocks though.
It's funny professional astronomers never see spaceships. You'd think spending endless nights looking through giant telescopes they would wouldn't you.

Not in Somerset…..no signs of life out there.
Unless you count …nope…no signs of life.

I think probably “life” exists . To what extent- fuck knows . Additionally whether any intelligent life forms will exist at the same point across billions of years and practically infinite numbers of planets- seems remote.

Cox is the one guy I can get my missus to watch, when it comes to science programs.
He explains things ( with a little interpretation from myself) in terminology she can grasp.
That in itself is an achievement.
Respect to the man.
When he says ‘ things can only get better’ , I believe him.
