Do City Deserve Champions League ?

I actually don't agree with that. I think:
1st+2nd in Prem plus the FA Cup winners = Champions Lg
3rd+4th in Prem plus the League Cup = Europa Lg

Anyone who doesn't achieve them things don't deserve or aren't good enough for European football!

As for us deserving CHAMPIONS lg, well we've not been Champions for 43 years! But if we finish 4th we'll deserve to have finished there and if that means Champions football then yeah so be it!

I'm rather hoping we finish 3rd AND win the cup.
We're only 2 points behind the Arse if we win our game in hand against Spuds.
I know we would have to beat our bogey sides (Everton & Spuds) but hey if Mancini states quite catagorically that only those who play well in the league can play in the cup - well you never know what might happen.

I actually agree to an extent, I think 1st place and the FA Cup winners should be CL and 2nd, 3rd and League Cup Winners in Europa. Nothing for 4th.

The Champion's League itself should be 16 teams, in my opinion, all of whom are champions of their countries respective countries league or domestic cup. This would raise the standard and make it a lot more of an achievement to reach the CL. It would also mix up the finances more as fewer teams share the wealth so you wouldn't end up with a cartel of 4/5 teams owning the domestic league.

Of course, it wont happen, less teams = less games = less TV licensing = less revenue.

Sad really.

Thinking about it your way is even better than mine! Finishing fourth is a failure and shouldn't be rewarded at all! Rewarding mediocrity breeds mediocrity as mediocrity "will do"! Teams aim for finishing fourth instead of finishing first, and that's no good!

No. We should give up our place in the champs leauge to liverpool who we all know deserve it as they are one of the sky top 4 teams.
It's not right that we should spoil this.
